As you get older life tends to get in the way and I did not see John as much as I would have liked, however my memories of him from childhood are of a happy and amiable man who was always pleased to see me. A visit to see John and Mary was always an exciting prospect and I remember enjoying Saturday afternoon TV with him while Mary cooked us a snack. May you rest in peace John.
